24th Birthday

i am officially 24, and fresh out of university, i have additional responsibilities to shoulder.

andre had a chat with me just now, about work trivia in his office.

being a successful, ariticulate and confident man that he has always been, it didn't appear to me that work trivia ails him, if at all.

so then, it dawn on me that, what matters to others is not how you feel, but how you appear to be before their eyes.

before i start ranting about the survival skills that one needs to survive in the cesspool widely known as the "office", let it be known that being a goody goody two shoes who goes home faithfully after work is hardly someone the modern workplace wants.

what the modern world wants today is sophistication, leadership and a can-do attitude.

so readers who are still in university, take heed and hone these skills before you plunge into this cesspool.

looking through past entries of my blog on ms word is really quite an exciting experience as i was constantly reminded of things that took place in the past.

as a rather sobering reminder to the fact that i have mellowed (euphemism for degenerative aging) with age, my heart cringe in embarrassment as i read through blog entries that are better kept within the sphere of my privacy. :x

looking forward, i am thrilled by the prospect of an impending overseas trip and that means i can momentarily say goodbye to an insipid diet that remotely resembles what you eat in the public hospitals. say hi to 5 full days of sinful indulgence.

life is pretty much enjoyable right now. much as it is enjoyable, there is a serious need to leap out of my comfort soon. real soon.
